Samsung Epic 4G Android Smartphone was launched in June 2010. It is running on the Hummingbird processor with PowerVR SGX540 GPU. The phone has 512 MB RAM and internal storage is expandable using microSD, up to 32 GB.
The Epic 4G has a 4.0 inches WVGA, 480 x 800 pixels Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 233 ppi. Coming to cameras, it has a 5 MP rear camera and a VGA front camera for selfies. It has a microUSB port for data syncing and charging. There is a accelerometer sensor present on the Epic 4G. It is a single SIM smartphone with support for 3G, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, Bluetooth and GPS too.
The Epic 4G runs on Android OS, v2.1 (Eclair), upgradable to v2.2 (Froyo) and all this is powered by a 1500 mAh battery. It measures 124 x 65 x 14 mm (height x width x thickness) with a total weight of 155 grams including battery.
