Lava V5 Android Smartphone was launched in January 2016. It is priced in India at Rs. 9999 ($147.04), running on the Mediatek MT6735 processor. The phone has 3 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which is expandable using microSD, up to 32 GB.
The V5 has a 5.5 inches HD, 720 x 1280 pixels IPS display with a pixel density of 267 ppi. It has Gorilla Glass protection as well. Coming to cameras, it has a 13 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front camera for selfies. It has a microUSB port for data syncing and charging. There is a accelerometer sensor present on the V5. It is a dual SIM smartphone with support for 4G LTE, USB OTG, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, Bluetooth and GPS too.
The V5 runs on Android OS, v5.1 (Lollipop), planned upgrade to v6.0 (Marshmallow) and all this is powered by a 3000 mAh battery. It measures 151.9 x 76.7 x 8.3 mm (height x width x thickness) with a total weight of 153.2 grams including battery.
