Gionee S8 Android Smartphone was launched in February 2016. It is priced in India at Rs. 34990 ($514.56), running on the Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 processor with Mali-T860MP2 GPU. The phone has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage which is expandable using microSD, up to 200 GB (uses SIM 2 slot).
The Gionee S8 has a 5.5 inches Full HD, 1080 x 1920 pixels AMOLED display with a pixel density of 401 ppi. It has Gorilla Glass protection as well. Coming to cameras, it has a 16 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front camera for selfies. It has a microUSB port for data syncing and charging. There is a fingerprint sensor present on the Gionee S8 as well, along with a accelerometer sensor. It is a dual SIM smartphone with support for 4G LTE, USB OTG, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, Bluetooth and GPS too.
The Gionee S8 runs on Android OS, v6.0.1 (Marshmallow) and all this is powered by a 3000 mAh battery. It measures 154.3 x 74.9 x 7 mm (height x width x thickness) with a total weight of 147.2 grams including battery.
