ZTE S series Teaser Release with four cameras and Axon 30 Pro with three flagship cameras
ZTE is working on its new smartphone series called ZTE S series. The Company VP Ni Fei has posted an image of an upcoming smartphone revealing the camera setup while talking about the color. The new phone will feature a quad-camera where a 64MP main sensor. The camera bump also reveals there's a 16mm ultrawide-angle snapper, but no telephoto lens so the other two are might be macro and portrait lens.
It's not clear where the ZTE S phones will be announced, but this phone will come in the mid-range lineup replacing or complimenting the ZTE Blade line. However, there are no more details about the phone yet, we hope we’ll learn more in the coming weeks.
The company also preparing to introduced the next flagship ZTE Axon 30 Pro smartphone that will have "three flagship cameras". An image appeared on the company's Weibo account which shows the ZTE Trinity setup will implement "more than two" flagship-tier shooters.
Last month, ZTE's President of Mobile Devices Ni Fei already confirmed that the Axon 30 Pro will come with second-gen under-display camera technology and also mentions that ZTE will present the world’s first under-screen 3D structured light technology. It remains to be seen how this implementation will be used by technology, but it can help for more accurate face scanning.
