ZTE A20 5G to be announced on September 1st with 6.92-inch FHD+ OLED display, 32MP Under-screen camera
Update - Today, ZTE has officially confirmed that the ZTE Axon 20 5G smartphone will be launch on September 1st in China. As per the invite image, there is the no-notch display or a pop-up camera because this will be the first under-screen camera smartphone. It is not going to be the first smartphone with an under-display camera in the world, but it will be the first commercially available smartphone in the Market.
Earlier - Last day, ZTE CEO Ni Fei has leaked a phone and yesterday confirmed to launch its latest smartphone ZTE A20 5G that is the world’s first smartphone that comes with an under-screen front camera. Now, the phone has listed on TENAA with model number A2121 in China.
According to the report, it has a 32 MP under-screen camera, which means there is no notch or punch-hole in the 6.92-inch FHD+ OLED display. There is the brand logo of Axon 5G and ZTE on the backside and has a quad rear camera setup in the square module where 64 MP primary camera along with an 8 MP Ultra-wide camera, 2 MP macro lens, and 2 MP depth sensor. The ZTE A20 5G could come in Flame Blue and Dazzling White colors.
Back in 2019, Xiaomi and OPPO showed off their smartphone prototypes with under-screen camera technology, while Samsung has also announced in 2018 that it is working on smartphones with under-screen sensor technology.
