Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Xiaomi Watch 2 in Europe, unveiling details regarding its specifications, design, and pricing, according to a report from Winfuture.de. The Xiaomi Watch 2 is anticipated to showcase a 1.43-inch AMOLED display boasting a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, featuring an always-on mode and a wide bezel. Notably, the physical rotating bezel present in the previous Watch 2 Pro model has been omitted.
Internally, the Xiaomi Watch 2 will be powered by the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1 SoC, incorporating an energy-efficient co-processor. It is projected to offer a battery life of up to 65 hours and will operate on Wear OS, integrating Google applications like Google Wallet, Google Maps, and the Play Store.
Connectivity options encompass Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and GNSS. The watch will also provide 5 ATM water resistance, 150 sports modes, and a variety of health monitoring features such as sleep tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, heart rate monitoring, and step counting.
The anticipated price range for the Xiaomi Watch 2 in Europe is between 200 Euros (USD 215 or approximately Rs. 17,860) to 220 Euros (USD 236 or around Rs. 19,650), available in black and silver color options.
Although the precise release date is not specified in the leak, Xiaomi has confirmed that a smartwatch will be showcased at MWC 2024 later this month, alongside the Xiaomi 14 series.
