Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 with Snapdragon 650, Fingerprint Sensor launched in India, starting at just Rs. 9999
Xiaomi today launched the Redmi Note 3 in India. Running on the Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor, the Redmi Note 3 (Pro) comes in two storage options: 2GB RAM / 16GB storage & 3GB RAM / 32GB storage alongwith expandable storage (hybrid slot) and runs Android 5.1 lollipop based MIUI 7 on top.
The metal-clad, fingerprint sensor Redmi Note 3 also has a 5.5-inch display up front and an upgraded 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) capable of recording 1080p videos. Accompanying it is a 5MP front-camera. Just to clear any doubts, this is a different variant than the MediaTek variant which was launched earlier in China.
Connectivity options are aplenty on the Note 3 with dual-SIM 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio as well as dual-band WiFi ac. Xiaomi has also graciously packed a 4050 mAh battery here which should suffice for a day's worth of use with some change left, and then there's fast charging support too.
