Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max launched with 13.3-inch 3.4K 144Hz display, XRING O3 SoC, 8 speakers, 12000mAh battery
Xiaomi has launched its latest tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max at its autumn flagship product launch event in China, alongside the Xiaomi 18 Fold.
Display and Design
The Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max features a slim unibody metal construction measuring just 5.67mm in thickness. It weighs 645 grams for the standard model, while the Soft Light Edition weighs 653 grams. The tablet sports a racetrack-inspired Deco design on the rear, complemented by Xiaomi’s XRING branding.
The tablet comes with a 13.3-inch display featuring a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 3.4K resolution of 3408 × 2272 pixels. The panel supports a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 1,000 nits of HBM brightness, and a Delta E rating of approximately 0.47 for color accuracy.
Xiaomi is also offering a Soft Light Edition with a nano-soft light screen designed to minimize glare and reflections for a more comfortable viewing experience. It is offered in three color options: Wine Red, Black, and Silver.
Performance and Battery
The Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max is powered by the Xiaomi XRING O3 flagship processor, built using TSMC’s 3nm process. The deca-core chipset reaches clock speeds of up to 4.35GHz and features a dedicated four-core Xuanjie NPU for AI processing.
Xiaomi claims that the processor delivers multi-core CPU and GPU performance approaching that of the desktop-class M5 platform, making the tablet suitable for demanding productivity and creative workloads.
A large 12,000mAh battery powers the device, with support for 120W Xiaomi Surge fast charging for rapid recharging.
