Xiaomi MIX Flip launched Globally with 6.86-inch 1.5K 120Hz LTPO foldable, 4-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED outer display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC
Xiaomi has also launched its first Flip smartphone, the Xiaomi MIX Flip for global markets alongside the Xiaomi 14T series. It features a 6.86-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 1-120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3000 nits. The outer display is a 4-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED screen with 3000 nits brightness and boasts a quad-curved design.
The external screen supports full-display gestures, notification and control centre swipe interactions, auto-rotation, and a full-size keyboard, making it adaptable for both left- and right-handed users. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, the MIX Flip includes a redesigned 3D cooling system with 12GB LPPDDR5X RAM, 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, and is based on Android 14 with Xiaomi HyperOS.
It has a 3500mm² vapor chamber (VC) featuring a unique "staircase" design for rapid heat dissipation. Xiaomi's SU7 "aerogel" thermal insulation material, placed near the inner display, prevents heat transfer to the screen, enhancing comfort during use. The middle frame is made of 6M42 aluminium alloy, while the outer and inner displays are protected by Xiaomi Shield Glass and ultra-thin flexible UTG glass. The dual-link hinge, composed of high-strength, wear-resistant materials, has been certified by SGS for 500,000 folds.
The camera setup includes Leica Summilux lenses with a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main sensor and a 50MP 47mm 3x Leica floating telephoto lens, with a minimum focus distance of 9cm. Xiaomi’s AISP computational photography platform provides advanced imaging capabilities with up to 60 TOPS of processing power. The outer screen can also be used with the cameras, including a makeup mirror mode.
It is powered by a 4780mAh battery, the MIX Flip surpasses the Xiaomi 14 flagship in capacity, benefiting from Xiaomi's Surge battery technology, which incorporates 6% silicon content in the negative electrode. According to Xiaomi, the battery retains at least 80% capacity after 1600 charge cycles.

The Xiaomi MIX Flip comes in Black and Purple colours, and the price is 1299 Euros (USD 1446 / Rs. 1,21,055 approx.) for the single 12GB RAM with 512GB storage model. It is already available for sale in Europe.
