Xiaomi launching Mi QLED TV 4K in India on December 16 with Dolby vision, HDMI 2.1, dual band Wi-Fi
Today, Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of its latest OLED smartTV Mi QLED TV 4K in India on December 16th after the teaser release and will be available on Flipkart as well as Mi.com and Mi stores. The company has already launched several QLED TV models in the Mi TV 5 Pro series in China back last year in November. In India, it's the first time planning to launch 55-inch QLED TV under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
According to the teaser, the company has confirmed that it has a Quantum Dot screen that will support Dolby Vision and HDR 10+. It will also support Dolby Audio and DTS-HD through HDMI 2.1 connectivity. These will work on Xiaomi’s own Patchwall technology based on Android TV. Recently, the company has rolled out new updates to PatchWall that brought 3 new features including an immersive carousel design, User Centre and Live TV.
