Lenovo announces Vibe K5 and K5 Plus to replace the ageing A series of smartphones
Lenovo has announced a duo of new smartphones here at Mobile World Congress, 2016. The Vibe K5 is an entry-level smartphone but with premium build running on an octa-core Snapdragon 415 processor with 5-inch HD display while the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus gets a 1080p display of the same size and an upgrade to the Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor. Let's dive into more details about specs, pricing and availability.
From the looks of it, both the Vibe K5 and K5 Plus seem premium devices with a touch of metal design. Both run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Lenovo's own custom Vibe UI on top. Both also share the same camera specs, a 13MP rear unit and a 5MP front-facing camera for taking selfies. There's Dolby Atmos support baked in too alongwith stereo speakers at the back of both phones. Sadly both of them still run on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
