Vivo has announced the upcoming launch of its latest smartphone in the Y series, the Y300 Pro 5G in China on September 5th. According to Vivo's Vice President Jia Jingdong, this will be the first phone to feature the company's largest battery and introduce Vivo's first micro four-curved screen, measuring 6.77 inches.

The screen's four edges have uniform subtle curvatures, described as "full-depth," while "micro-quad-curved" indicates noticeable but not overly pronounced curves. The display offers a peak brightness of up to 5000 nits and includes features like blue light filtering, anti-strobe technology, and intelligent brightness adjustment. It has also passed the National Ophthalmology Engineering Center test and received SGS eye protection certification.

The Y300 Pro 5G will come with a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 32-megapixel front camera. The rear camera module features a unique jade ring design with a 360-degree sun texture. At just 7.69mm thick, the phone will be available in titanium, gold jade, white, and black colors. It will boast a massive 6500mAh battery, providing up to 12.1 hours of gaming on a single charge, and supports 80W fast charging.

According to a recent Geekbench listing for the phone (model number Vivo V2410A), it is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and come with 12GB of RAM.
