Vivo Y200 Pro 5G to be launched in India on May 21 with 120Hz AMOLED Curved display, Snapdragon 695 SoC

Vivo has officially announced the upcoming launch of the Y200 Pro 5G, the company's latest mid-range 5G smartphone in India, scheduled for May 21st, after the teaser. The teaser reveals a curved display. Given that last year's vivo Y200 boasted a 120Hz AMOLED screen, it's reasonable to anticipate a similar feature for the Y200 Pro. Additionally, it showcases dual rear cameras, and the phone sports a green color with a patterned back.

vivo has confirmed that the phone will run on the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, a notable upgrade from the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 found in the Y200. The teaser also highlights the phone's slimmest 3D curved display in its segment, measuring just 7.49mm.

The phone's design bears resemblance to the vivo Y29 Lite, which also flaunts a curved screen and Snapdragon 695 SoC. However, the Y200 differs with its dual rear cameras compared to the triple rear cameras in the Y29 Lite.

vivo hints at a price range between Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 for the phone. It's worth noting that the vivo Y200 5G was launched in India at Rs. 21,999. More details about the phone are expected to surface in the coming days leading up to its official unveiling next week.
