Vivo X90 series to be launched on November 22 with Dimensity 9200/Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC along with Vivo TWS 3
Today, Vivo has confirmed the launch of its latest flagship smartphone Vivo X90 series in China on November 22nd, after the teasers and rumors. The Vivo X90 series will have three phones including Vivo X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+. The Vivo X90 and X90 are said to be powered by the latest Dimensity 9200 processor and the X90 Pro+ should be run on the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC.
The teaser image confirms ZEISS optics with T* coating for the camera. These phones will equip with the self-developed V2 chip that was introduced last week. The X90 series is said to use a BOE screen with 120W fast charging support and should be based on the latest OriginOS 3. The teaser image reveals a quad rear camera setup for the X90 Pro and Pro+ models with a leather-like back and a metal strip.
According to the images shared by the company, the phone will be available in Blue, Red, and Black colors with a leather-like for the Red version.
Based on the camera samples as per the company, the Vivo X90 Pro+ will feature a 50MP primary camera with 1″ Sony IMX989 sensor, f/1.8 aperture along with a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera with IMX598 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 50MP IMX758 Portrait camera with f/1.6 aperture 2x zoom and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B Periscope Telephoto camera with f/3.5 aperture 3.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.
Vivo recently detailed the camera upgrades in the X90 series. It said that the phone’s photosensitive ability will be 77% better than that of the 1/1.3-inch Samsung ISOCELL GNV, and the sensor size will be 1-inch. It also said that the phone will come with a Super-sensing portrait system, and Vivo and Zeiss have built a new 50mm portrait lens.
According to the company, it uses a new “Sky Night View System” a self-developed AI algorithm, and an improved lens sensor to increase picture sensitivity by 100% and supports ISO up to 102400, allowing lengthy exposures without tripods or stabilizers. And, with handheld devices, users can now capture starry skies, as per the company.
The company also launching its new Vivo TWS3 along it, which is said to feature 48dB/49dB noise cancellation. We should know more details and features in the coming days.
