Vivo X5Pro launched in India with 5.2-inch 1080p display, Android 5.0 lollipop for Rs. 27980
Vivo today launched its flagship in India, the Vivo X5Pro. Kangana Ranaut did the honors in presence of Alex Wang, CEO of Vivo India. The X5Pro follows the X5Max with good design and focus on thinness. It has a 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display clad in 2.5D corning gorilla glass in the front and back.
Strangely even though the Vivo X5Pro is being touted as a flagship device, it just makes do with the 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage. This is a 4G LTE dual-SIM device with a hybrid second SIM card slot which can either take a SIM card or a microSD card to expand storage. But it does run Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with FunTouch OS skin on top right out of the box.
Coming to the rest of the specs, a 13MP rear and 8MP front-camera round up the imaging department. The rear camera doesn't have a major bulge at the back, just the ring around it protrudes out but Vivo has made use of sapphire glass to protect the lens from scratching. The rear camera also has Phase-detection AutoFocus alongwith face-detection. Moreover, it comes with a 2450 mAh battery and all this is a thin 6.44mm slim metal frame.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM 4G LTE support (both 2300 MHz and 1800 Mhz bands), WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio. The Vivo X5Pro has been priced at Rs. 27,980 nad will be available in white color only starting August 15th. Pre-booking will start midnight tonight and the customers to book it before July 31st stand to win exciting prizes with one winner each day going away with the X5 Pro itself.
