Vivo X100 Ultra Surfaced on 3C certification revealing 80W fast charging Support

Vivo launched the X100 and X100 Pro smartphones last November in China but held back on releasing the Ultra model. The upcoming vivo smartphone, identified by model number V2366GA, has appeared on China’s 3C certification platform, showcasing support for 80W fast charging. While this falls short of the 120W charging seen in the X100 and 100W in the X100 Pro, it's likely to maintain 50W wireless charging capability.

There's also speculation about a satellite version, identified as V2366HA. Though specifics are still under wraps, earlier rumors suggest it might incorporate vivo’s blue crystal chip stack and blue ocean battery life system, housing a sizable 5400/5500mAh battery.

In terms of internals, it's anticipated that this model will ditch the Dimensity 9300 SoC found in the X100 and X100 Pro in favor of a Snapdragon 8 Gen3 SoC. It's expected to offer up to 16GB of RAM and storage options of up to 1TB (UFS 4.0).

Camera-wise, the X100 Ultra purportedly features a 1" Sony LYT-900 sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 200-megapixel APO periscope telephoto camera. It’s likely to retain features like Zeiss T* coating, ZEISS optics, and the V3 imaging chip.

Moving to the vivo S19 Pro, identified by model number V2362A, it has also received 3C certification, confirming 80W fast charging, on par with its predecessor, the S18 Pro.

The expected release window for the vivo X100 Ultra and the vivo S19 series is the second quarter 2024.
