Vivo X Fold3 Surfaced Online with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, 64MP periscope telephoto camera
Vivo is preparing to launch its upcoming foldable smartphones the Vivo X Fold3 and the next-generation X Flip in China soon. Leaker Digital Chat Station has provided a glimpse into the sketch and some specifications of the X Fold3.
There's a subtle alteration in the camera design, with the flash now relocated to the right, and the ZEISS branding incorporated inside the camera deco. According to the leaker, this foldable phone is poised to be the lightest in the industry and will boast a thinner profile.
Expected to be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, an advancement from the 8 Gen 3 in the X Fold2, the X Fold3 is set to maintain the 50MP rear camera. However, it is rumored to introduce a new 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera.
With the inclusion of the vivo V3 custom imaging chip, 4K 60fps video recording capability, and imaging prowess comparable to the vivo X100 series, the X Fold3 is projected to emerge as the most formidable foldable phone in terms of camera capabilities, as per the leaker.
Considering Vivo's history of launching foldable phones in April last year, the X Fold3 is expected to hit the market sometime in April.
