Vivo V29 and V29 Pro launched in India starting at Rs. 32999 with 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 778G/Dimensity 8200 SoC
Vivo has launched its latest smartphones in the V series the Vivo V29 and V29 Pro in India, as they promised. Both have a 6.78-inch FHD+ 55° 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ supports, and an In-display fingerprint sensor. The Vivo V29 Pro runs on the Dimensity 8200 Soc, while the Vivo V29 has Snapdragon 778G with up to 12GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, and is based on Android 13 with Funtouch OS 13.
Vivo V29 series has a 50MP primary rear camera with IMX766 sensor in V29 Pro and ISOCELL GN5 sensor in V29 along with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and 12MP 2x telephoto portrait camera in V29 Pro and 2MP depth sensor in V29. Also comes with a ring LED, which it calls Aura light. These phones have a 50MP autofocus front-facing punch-hole camera with dual soft LED flash, and 0.8x and 2x zoom options.
According to the company, the Himalayan Blue variant incorporates India's initial use of 3D Particle Technology. This technology utilizes 15 million micron-sized 3D magnetic particles to produce an array of dynamic and cascading transitions between light and shadows. When the phone is tilted, it gives the impression that the mountain-inspired silhouette is shifting and swaying in response to the motion's rhythm, as described by the company.
The phones are also offered in a sleek Space Black color variant, while the Majestic Red edition in V29 features the Color Changing Glass. These phones are equipped with a robust 4600mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging, capable of charging up to 50% in just 18 minutes.

The vivo V29 comes in Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and Space Black colors, and the vivo V29 Pro comes in Himalayan Blue, and Space Black colors. Both phones will be available on October 17th on vivo.com, Flipkart, and offline stores, and the Pre-booking starts today, October 4th.
