vivo T5 Pro 5G launching in India on April 15th with 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED Display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, 9020mAh Battery

vivo has officially confirmed the launch of its latest smartphone in the T5 series, the vivo T5 Pro 5G in India on April 15.

Battery -

The company has revealed that the T5 Pro 5G will feature a massive 9020mAh battery. With a thickness of just 8.25mm, vivo claims it is the slimmest smartphone to house a battery of this capacity. The battery is rated to maintain up to 80% health even after 1,200 charging cycles, which translates to roughly five years of regular usage. The device will support 90W Flash Charge fast charging technology.

According to vivo’s internal testing data, a single full charge can deliver up to 12.6 hours of continuous gaming, 90 hours of music playback, 13 hours of live streaming, and nearly 12.9 hours of video recording.

Performance -

The vivo T5 Pro 5G will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and will offer configurations of up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The company claims the device achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score of around 1.2 million.

For thermal management, the smartphone will incorporate a 7000mm² vapor chamber cooling system. vivo has also teased support for 120FPS gaming in select titles, including BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile.

Display and Software -

On the display front, the device will sport a 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. It will run on vivo’s OriginOS 6 and carry IP68 and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance.

Based on early reports, the smartphone is expected to feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera, and teaser images indicate the presence of a secondary rear sensor as well.

More information about the vivo T5 Pro 5G is expected to surface in the coming days ahead of its official unveiling next week. After launch, the device will be available for purchase via Flipkart, the vivo India online store, and offline retail outlets.
