TECNO has launched its latest foldable smartphones in the PHANTOM V2 Series, which includes the PHANTOM V Fold 2 and PHANTOM V Flip 2 in India, after the teaser. Building on user feedback from the first-generation PHANTOM V Series, TECNO has addressed key concerns related to durability, display, battery life, and overall user experience. The company describes the PHANTOM V2 Series as a refined and perfect solution designed to meet users' expectations seamlessly.
TECNO PHANTOM V Fold2 -
The TECNO PHANTOM V Fold2 5G features a 6.42-inch external display and a 7.85-inch internal foldable screen. Both displays support a 120Hz refresh rate and are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the aerospace-grade hinge has been rigorously tested over 400,000 folds.
It runs on the Dimensity 9000+ SoC, paired with 24GB of RAM (12GB physical + 12GB virtual) and 512GB of internal storage. The phone operates on Android 14 with HiOS and comes with a commitment to two OS upgrades and three years of security updates. It features a dock bar for a tablet-like interface, enabling multitasking and drag-and-drop functionality in split-screen mode.
