Sony Xperia E1 Dual Benchmarks

Sony Xperia E1 Dual is a surprise entrant in the lower mid-range segment in India. The E1 Dual is now available for about Rs. 9000 and in this price segment you have the champ Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 as well as the spec king XOLO Q1000 Opus and if you move up the ladder you have Sony's own Xperia M. So how does the Xperia E1 fare in comparison to all these phones and does it have enough fire power to stand out in an overcrowded segment.

Quadrant Score Comparison

The Sony Xperia E1 Dual scored 5390 on Quadrant which is very respectable score and higher than the Xperia M, the Galaxy S Duos 2 as well as the quad-core XOLO Q1000 Opus.

AnTuTu Score Comparison

The AnTuTu score of the Xperia E1 Dual is also a shocker and here too it bested some of its competition with a score of 12369.

NenaMark 2 Score Comparison

Xperia E1 Dual scored 55.4 FPS on NenaMark2 which again goes to show that the internals as well Android 4.3 Jelly Bean are certainly working hard to keep the phone performing great.

Vellamo HTML5 and Metal

Here too the Xperia E1 Dual didn't falter and scored an impressive 1849 on Vellamo HTML 5 and 474 on the Metal test. These too are segment leading scores, fitting in quite well with even quad-core alternatives.

Linpack

We got a score of 75.19 MFlops on the Linpack Single Thread test and 122.22 on the multi-thread test, again good scores throughout.

Mutitouch Test

The display on the Sony Xperia E1 Dual supports 2 points of touch.

Conclusion

The Xperia E1 Dual performed brilliantly well in our benchmarking review, it got top scores among all the benchmark tests including Quadrant, AnTuTu, Vellamo, NenaMark 2 and others. With good build quality, a good display and a loud speakerphone it could have been the best choice in this segment if priced a bit lower since it just has a 3.1 MP fixed-focus camera and no front-camera, which has now become the norm.
