Samsung teases "The Next Galaxy" in video, hints at Galaxy S5 water resistance
Samsung has just uploaded a teaser video for its upcoming Unpacked event in Barcelona at MWC 2014, where we expect the company to unveil the next flagship, Galaxy S5. There has been a lot of speculation about the specs of the Galaxy S5 including that it will be available in two variants one with (just) a 1080p display while the other with a 5.25-inch QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display. Here's the video teaser.
Generally Samsung always makes two variants of its flagship Galaxy S device, one if for LTE markets with Snapdragon processors while the other is the international variant with the new Exynos chipset released the same year. But some specs are more or less sure including 3GB LPDDR3 RAM, 16 MP ISOCELL camera capable of 4K Ultra HD video recording and a fingerprint scanner.
Although the event will be low key compared to the Broadway unveiling of the Galaxy S4, Samsung is expected to wow with the Galaxy S5 as the previous-gen met with a very luke warm reception especially considering innovation. Its almost time, in just a few days we will see the Galaxy S5 for the first time.
