One UI 7 leverages AI to learn how you use your device and adapt to your needs, offering a personalized experience like never before, making every interaction feel natural and intuitive, Samsung says.
Enhanced AI Features for Seamless Interaction -
One UI 7 brings powerful AI enhancements, including tools that help improve your writing by summarizing, checking grammar, and formatting notes—all without leaving the current app. Additionally, the update features automatic call transcriptions in 20 languages, eliminating the need for manual note-taking.
Bold New Design for Better Personalization and Control -
The update introduces a redesigned lock screen experience with the Now Bar, providing instant access to key information and AI features like Interpreter and Music. The home screen is now cleaner, with redesigned widgets, giving users full control over their mobile experience. One UI 7 is crafted to be bold, intuitive, and highly personalized.
Reimagined Camera Experience -
One UI 7 also enhances the camera experience with a redesigned user interface, making it easier to navigate through all camera modes. Pro and Pro Video modes have been streamlined for a cleaner look, while a new zoom control in Pro Video mode offers more precise zoom adjustments.
Availability -
The Samsung One UI 7 beta program is now live for Galaxy S24 series devices in Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the UK, and the U.S., starting today, December 5th. Galaxy S24 users can apply to join the beta program through the Samsung Members app.
According to Samsung, the stable One UI 7 update will debut with upcoming Galaxy S series devices in the first quarter of 2025, featuring enhanced on-device AI capabilities. This aligns with the expected launch of the Galaxy S25 series in January. The update will then gradually roll out to other Galaxy devices.
