Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 Surfaced online with new camera design, Snapdragon 8 Gen1+ SoC
Samsung is preparing to introduce its next flagship foldable samrtphone the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 later this year. Now, the first CAD-based render for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 has surfaced online by leakster @OnLeaks. It shows a familiar foldable design, but the rear camera arrangement is similar to the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
According to the latest rumors, the phone will feature a 7.6-inch 23:9 aspect ratio foldable AMOLED screen, compared to 24.5:9 in the predecessor, so the display should be slightly wider and shorter. The cover display has a 6.2-inch screen, which is also said to be wider with a 6:5 aspect ratio, compared to 5:4 in the Z Fold 3. The phone dimensions are 155x130x7.1mm when unfolded as compared to the 158.2×128.1x6.4mm previous model.
The phone comes with a 108MP primary rear camera along with a 3x optical zoom telephoto camera as compared to the 2x in the predecessor. This time we can expect improvements to the under-screen camera on the foldable screen. It should be powered by a 4400mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging and should also support wireless charging. The new Z Flip and Z Fold phones are said to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen1+ processor, which is expected to be introduced soon.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 are expected to be announced sometime in August including in India.
