Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch FE Model number Surfaced Online

Samsung is reportedly developing a new smartwatch dubbed the ‘Galaxy Watch Ultra,’ as indicated by insights from Android Headlines, which previously provided details about the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra.

According to the report, instead of introducing the Watch 7 Pro, Samsung may introduce three new watches: the Watch 7, Watch 7 Classic, and Watch Ultra.

Galaxy Watch Ultra -

Rumors suggest that the Watch Ultra will boast a larger 578mAh battery, identified by the model number EB-BL705ABY. Initially expected to include the Watch 7, Watch 7 Classic, and Watch Ultra, Samsung might opt to exclude the Classic model, akin to its approach with the Watch5 series.

The Watch Ultra will come with three distinct model numbers: SM-L705U, SM-L705N, and SM-L705F, corresponding to the U.S., Korea, and global markets, respectively.

Galaxy Watch FE -

In addition to the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Samsung is also working on a “FE” version – The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE, inspired by Apple’s strategy with the Apple Watch SE, will serve as a budget-friendly alternative to the Watch Ultra. It will be available in specific models (SM-R866F, SM-R866U, and SM-R866N) for the U.S., Korea, and other markets. The Watch FE is expected to share features with the Galaxy Watch4 (2021), according to the report.

The Watch Ultra could potentially incorporate advanced sensors for more precise workout tracking, including enhanced swimming data accuracy due to improved water pressure durability and enhanced GPS tracking. Reports suggest a significant improvement in battery life, possibly facilitated by the use of a larger battery compared to previous models. While exact technical specifications for both watches are currently undisclosed, notable distinctions between the Watch Ultra and Watch FE are anticipated.

Launch Date?

The Watch Ultra might be revealed alongside the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6, as well as the Galaxy Ring, at the speculated Galaxy Unpacked Event scheduled for July 10 in Paris.
