Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event Reportedly Scheduled for July 10 in Paris for Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Ring
Samsung has scheduled the Galaxy Unpacked event for July 10th in Paris to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6, and Galaxy Ring, according to the Korean media. Rumors about a July launch in Paris first emerged in March, and now the date has been confirmed.
As the official partner of the International Olympic Committee, Samsung has chosen Paris as the venue just two weeks before the opening of the Paris Summer Olympics.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 -
The launch of the Galaxy Z series is set a month earlier than last year's August release due to a faster production schedule. The standard Z Fold 6 model is expected to be thinner than its predecessor, with the entry-level model further reducing thickness and costs by omitting stylus support.
Both the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6 are rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, targeting a broader market without the 'For Galaxy' branding used in the Galaxy S24 series. Additionally, there are rumors of more affordable Galaxy Z Fold FE and Z Flip FE models with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 or Exynos 2200 chips planned for late 2024.
Samsung Galaxy Ring -
Samsung showcased the Galaxy Ring at MWC 2024, following its teaser at the Galaxy S24 Unpacked event. The pricing and rollout details of the smart ring are expected to be revealed at the July Unpacked event.
The Galaxy Ring aims to provide users with continuous health insights, aligning with Samsung’s vision for a connected digital wellness platform.
