Samsung Galaxy Note 4 gets Android 5.0 Lollipop update in India

Samsung has started rolling out Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note 4 SM-N910C in India. The Galaxy Note Edge which was launched alongside the Note 4 back in October running KitKat received its Android 5.0 Lollipop update last month alongwith the Galaxy S5.

Android Lollipop brings in a new version of TouchWiz with Material Design references here and there, better performance, better security, lockscreen notifications. This is a hefty update about 1 GB in size and you need atleast 3 GB of free space available for it to be installed on your phone. After installation your available internal space will decrease by 1 GB as there are several apps that will be updated and new ones added.

Lollipop OTA update for the Galaxy Note 4 is now available in India, Brazil, Baltics and UAE, if you haven't received a notification yet, just go into Settings -> About phone and check for updates.
