Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch launched in India

Samsung has just launched the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch in India. Galaxy Note 3 has been priced at Rs. 49,900 while the Galaxy Gear smartwatch at Rs. 22,990. Both will be available starting September 25th.

Just to jog your memory, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a 5.7-inch 1080p full HD display, 1.9 Ghz quad-core Cortex-A15 plus 1.3 Ghz quad-core Cortex-A7 Exynos Octa chipset with 3GB RAM and 13 megapixel primary camera. The Note III runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

While the Galaxy Gear smartwatch has a 1.9 megapixel camera, with a 1.63 inch super AMOLED display with 512 MB RAM, 4GB internal memory and 800 MHz processor. The Galaxy Gear is supposed tyo last an entire day on a single charge. You can make and receive calls through the smartwatch once its paired with your Note 3.
