Samsung Galaxy M42 5G launching in India on April 28 with Snapdragon 750G, Samsung Pay

Samsung has finally confirmed the launch of its first mid-range 5G smartphone the Galaxy M42 5G in India on April 28th and will be available through Amazon.in. As per the earlier rumors, the company has confirmed that the phone will be run on Snapdragon 750G processor. The Teaser image shows a quad rear camera setup and an Infinity-U display, and could be available in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants.

The phone will come with Knox security with a secure folder, AltZ with Quick switch, content suggestion, and Samsung Pay, according to the company. This will be the rebranded version of the Galaxy A42 that was launched last year, by similar design, but this could feature a 64MP primary camera along with three more lenses and a larger 6000mAh battery that could support fast charging.

As per the earlier reports, the price of the phone will be between Rs. 20,000 - Rs. 25,000. We should know more detailed and full specifications of the phone with the exact price when it goes officially launches later this month.
