Samsung Galaxy M17 5G launched in India starting at Rs. 12,499 with 6.7-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED display, Exynos 1330 SoC
Samsung has launched its latest samrtphone in the M series, the Galaxy M17 5G smartphone in India, as promised. The device features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a notch design. It is powered by the Exynos 1330 chipset, replacing the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 used in its predecessor.
The Galaxy M17 5G retains the same camera setup — a 50MP main sensor, 5MP ultra-wide lens, and 2MP macro camera — along with a 13MP front camera. It runs Android 15 with One UI 7, includes Gemini Live features, and is promised 6 OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. It is slightly thinner and lighter than the Galaxy M16 5G, and features a refreshed camera design, marking the key design improvements.
