Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) go official
The new line-up of the Galaxy J series is now official, with the Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7(2016). Both the smartphones have just gone official in China, at present there is no word on an India launch. Both have NFC and Super AMOLED displays as well.
Coming to specs, the Galaxy J7 2016 runs on a 1.6GHz octa-core processor with a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 3GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage which is expandable. There's a rather large 3300 mAh battery in here as well.
The Galaxy J5 2016 on the other hand runs on a quad-core 1.2GHz processor with 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 2GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage and a 3100 mAh battery.
Both the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 2016 variants have a 13MP rear and 5MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture lens, moreover both are 4G LTE capable and come with NFC inbuilt as well. So, they should be compatible with Samsung Pay, which was just launched in China.
We don't have a confirmation on pricing or availability yet, but rest assured both of these would be coming to India soon.
