Samsung Galaxy A8 with fingerprint sensor, 5.7-inch display goes official in India priced at Rs. 32500

Samsung Galaxy A8 has just been made official in India. It has been priced at Rs. 32,500 aiming for the premium-segment buyer. This is the thinnest Samsung smartphone yet at just 5.9mm with a full metal and glass construction similar to other Galaxy A series smartphones.

It comes with a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, full-metal unibody design with a 3050 mAh non-removable battery. For India the Snapdragon 615 Soc has been swapped by a more potent Exynos 5430 octa-core processor paired with 2GB RAM, 32 GB onboard storage which is expandable with the second hybrid SIM card slot and it runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop right out of the box.

Samsung has packed a 16MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture lens, 5MP front-camera with 120-degree wide-angle lens. The Samsung Galaxy A8 will be available in Black, White and Gold colors priced at Rs. 32,500 across retail channels both offline and online.
