Samsung Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G to be launched in India on December 26 with 50MP Camera, Knox security

Samsung has officially confirmed the launch of the Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G smartphones in India on December 26th, after the announcement last week. The teaser showcases the devices in vibrant blue and yellow hues.

The Galaxy A15 5G aims to embody Samsung Galaxy's #AwesomeIsForEveryone philosophy by offering a premium feel through its distinctive design language, according to the company. Both phones will feature a Super AMOLED display, with the Galaxy A15 5G boasting a 50MP triple camera setup equipped with VDIS to minimize blur or distortion in videos caused by unsteady movements. The device will be available in various storage and RAM configurations to cater to the evolving needs of consumers.

On the other hand, the Galaxy A25 5G will boast a 120Hz Super AMOLED display and a 50MP (OIS) triple camera setup. It will incorporate several AI-enabled photo-editing features and be powered by a 5nm processor, specifically the Exynos 1280.

Both the Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G will be equipped with the Knox Security platform at the chip level, ensuring users have complete control over their data. Features such as Auto Blocker, Secure Folder, Privacy Dashboard, and Samsung Passkey will contribute to a secure user experience. Additionally, the devices will feature the Knox Vault chipset, providing a tamper-resistant environment for critical user data.

In alignment with the global launch, these smartphones will run on One UI 6.0 based on Android 14, offering up to 4 OS versions and 5 years of security updates. They will come with a robust 5000mAh battery supporting 25W charging, with the charger being sold separately.

Details regarding the pricing and sale of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A series 5G smartphones will be revealed after the official launch next week.
