Samsung Galaxy A07 5G launched in India starting at Rs. 15,999 with 6.7-inch 120Hz display, Dimensity 6300 SoC, 6000mAh battery
Samsung has officially launched its latest mid-range 5G smartphone in the A-series, the Galaxy A07 5G in India. It features a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. For improved outdoor legibility, the panel supports High-Brightness Mode (HBM) with peak brightness of up to 800 nits. Samsung has also added 2-step tempered glass to enhance durability.
On the design front, the smartphone adopts a Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) back panel. According to Samsung, this material delivers improved structural strength while allowing for a slimmer overall profile. The device measures 8.2mm in thickness, weighs 199g, and features a flat side frame dubbed “Key Island 2.0.” It carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance and is offered in Light Violet, Light Green, and Black colour options.
Camera Setup -
The Galaxy A07 5G features a dual rear camera system integrated into what Samsung calls the “Iconic Track Camera Deco.”

Software and Security -
The device runs One UI 8.0 based on Android 16. Samsung has also confirmed an extended update policy, promising six years of Android OS upgrades along with six years of security updates.
A notable addition in this price segment is Samsung Knox Vault. This hardware-level security system uses a dedicated processor and isolated memory to securely store sensitive information such as PINs, passwords, and biometric data, offering protection even in the event of software-level attacks.
The phone further supports fingerprint and face authentication for UPI transactions via Samsung Wallet and includes an Auto Blocker feature designed to prevent unauthorized app installations.
Battery and Performance -
Fueling the smartphone is a 6,000mAh battery, which Samsung says is around 20% larger than the previous generation, targeting full-day usage for activities such as streaming and web browsing. The phone supports 25W fast charging, although a charger is not included in the box.
In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy A07 5G supports 12 5G bands, ensuring broad network compatibility across India.
