This will be the world’s first 5G smartphone that comes with quantum random number generation (QRNG) chipset. The company shares some similar specifications to the Galaxy A71 5G smartphone that have a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED Infinity-O Display, Exynos 980 SoC, up to 8 GB RAM, 64MP quad rear cameras, 32MP front-facing camera and a 4500mAh battery with 25W super-fast charging.

The world’s smallest quantum random number generator (QRNG) chipset with name S2Q000 developed by SK Telecom’s company based on Switzerland. Its subsidiary ID Quantique in ‘Galaxy A Quantum’ helps smartphone users safely use specific services like  SK Pay biometric authentication, T ID double login, and 'initial' of quantum security based on quantum crypto technology. All services go through an encryption-decryption process when data is stored or exchanged, and an encryption key is essential.

The SKY Telecom said that the quantum random number generation chipset, which is 2.5 mm wide and 2.5 mm shorter than the nails. Inside the chipset, a CMOS image sensor detects the light (photons) emitted by the LED light source. At this time, random numbers are used using the randomness of both.

Yoo Young-sang, SK Telecom's MNO business unit manager said that the launch of the Galaxy A Quantum has rewritten the history of the world's quantum security industry. The Gregoire Ribordy CEO of IDQ also said that the quantum random number generation chipset is optimized for smartphones with a compact, low-power product.
