Xiaomi has officially confirmed the global launch of its latest smartphone in the Note 17 series, the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G for the Global Market on August 27, 2026. The announcement follows the introduction of the REDMI Note 17 Pro in China last month.
Positioned as the top model in the upcoming REDMI Note 17 series, the smartphone will launch under the tagline “Titan power, go max.” It is set to combine a massive silicon-carbon battery with enhanced durability certifications and upgraded hardware.
Massive Battery and Fast Charging
- 10,000mAh Battery: The REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G will feature a 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, making it the largest battery on a mainstream Redmi Note smartphone to date.
- 100W HyperCharge: The device will support 100W wired fast charging, allowing the large-capacity battery to recharge more quickly.
Rugged “Titan Quality” Durability
- Drop Protection: Xiaomi has collaborated with TÜV SÜD, and the phone has received SGS certification for drop resistance from heights of up to 3 meters onto hard surfaces.
- Extreme Ingress Protection: The smartphone carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, providing protection against dust, water submersion, high-pressure water jets, and steam cleaning.
