Redmi K60 Ultra to be launched on August 14 with 144Hz 1.5K OLED display, Dimensity 9200+ SoC, up to 24GB RAM
Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of its latest flagship smartphone the Redmi K60 Ultra (Extreme Edition) in China on August 14th along with other devices, after the teaser. The company has officially announced that the upcoming phone will feature a 144Hz refresh rate and a flat OLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K. Additionally, they've disclosed that the device scored an impressive 1.77 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark.
Moreover, this phone will also introduce a secondary flagship model with a flat green screen utilizing China Star's latest C7 luminescent material. This innovation significantly reduces power consumption while achieving a remarkable peak brightness of 2600 nits. The display also supports an ultra-high frequency PWM dimming of 2880Hz and includes comprehensive eye protection features.
It will be run on the latest Dimensity 9200+ processor, complemented by a dedicated X7 chip from Pixelworks, ensuring an exceptional visual and gaming experience. This phone will offer impressive configurations, featuring up to 24 GB of RAM and a capacious storage option of up to 1TB. Notably, it will mark the debut of Redmi's IP68 dustproof and waterproof ratings, enhancing its durability.
A recent teaser has confirmed the presence of a 50MP primary rear camera with a wide f/1.7 aperture, and the phone is expected to include both an ultra-wide camera and a macro camera. The device has already received certification, revealing support for 120W fast charging, matching the capabilities of the K60 Pro.
