Redmi Buds 5 launching in India on February 12 with 46dB ANC, up to 40h total playback, Bluetooth 5.3 LTE
Redmi has recently announced the launch of its latest earbuds, the Redmi Buds 5 to the Indian market on February 12, after its successful debut in China last year and a recent global launch. The official announcement on the social media platform X (previously known as Twitter) came with the hashtag #SuperBuds.
In terms of features, Redmi emphasized the 12.4nm Titanium drivers, 46dB Hybrid ANC, diverse sound modes, dual device pairing capability, and dual-mic setup for calls with AI voice enhancement.
Regarding battery life, the company suggests an impressive 38 hours of music playback and includes support for fast charging via USB Type-C. The earbuds are available in a striking violet color, with additional options of black and white anticipated.
Other notable features comprise EQ effects, touch controls, and compatibility with customization and updates through the Xiaomi Earbuds app. Prospective buyers can now access a 'Notify Me' page on Amazon India.
While pricing specifics have not been revealed, the earbuds are priced at 199 yuan (approximately USD 27 or Rs. 2,300) in China and USD 46 (approximately Rs. 3,810) globally. Hence, the expected pricing in India is likely to fall within a similar range.
