realme NARZO 100x 5G launched in India starting at Rs. 20,999 with 6.8-inch 144Hz display, 8000mAh battery

Realme has launched its latest smartphone, the NARZO 100x 5G in India, as it had promised. The latest addition to the NARZO lineup focuses on long battery life, reliable performance, military-grade durability, and AI-powered software features, making it a practical choice for everyday users.

Performance and Cooling

The realme NARZO 100x 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G processor, built on a 6nm process. The octa-core chipset features two Cortex-A76 performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores running at 2.0GHz, paired with the Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

To keep temperatures under control during extended gaming and multitasking sessions, the phone is equipped with a 5,300mm² vapor chamber cooling system. It is available with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, with support for dynamic RAM expansion and microSD card expansion up to 2TB.

8000mAh Battery and Fast Charging

The smartphone packs a massive 8000mAh silicon-carbon battery designed for long-term reliability. According to realme, the battery can retain more than 80% of its original capacity after four years of regular usage.

• 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging charges the battery up to 50% in around 33 minutes.
• Bypass charging helps reduce heat generation while gaming during charging.
• 13.5W reverse wired charging allows the phone to charge compatible devices.

Despite the large battery, the phone measures just 8.88mm thick and weighs 224g.

Display and Cameras

The NARZO 100x 5G features a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 180Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 1200 nits High Brightness Mode (HBM). The display is protected by Panda Glass.

For photography, the phone sports a 50MP primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and LED flash, capable of recording videos at up to 1080p 30fps. On the front, it houses an 8MP selfie camera with support for 1080p video recording.

Software and Durability

The smartphone runs Android 16 with realme UI 7.0 and comes with several AI-powered features, including Gemini Live integration, AI Assistant for Notes, and AI Eraser.

For durability, the device features an ArmorShell structural design, carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, and is certified to MIL-STD-810H military-grade standards for improved shock and drop protection.

Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, AI Pulse Light for notifications, USB Type-C audio, an 1115 Ultra-Linear speaker with 400% Ultra Volume, and dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity.
