Realme GT5 Pro will feature 5400mAh battery, 100W wired and 50W wireless charging; Pricing surfaced

Realme is all set to launch its upcoming flagship smartphone the Realme GT5 Pro on December 7th in China. Now, The initial price of the flagship realme GT5 Pro smartphone briefly appeared on the Tmall website in China. As depicted in the image, the phone boasts ultra-narrow bezels, a feature touted by the company as the narrowest in the industry.

Realme China's Chief Marketing Officer, Xu Qi Chase, had previously disclosed that the phone would showcase a peak brightness exceeding 3000 nits. Certification details have already unveiled a 6.78-inch (2780×1264 pixels) 1.5K curved AMOLED display.

This discloses a starting price of 3499 yuan (USD 495 / Rs. 41,255 approx.) for the phone. While specific details about the RAM and storage are not provided, it is presumed that the configuration will commence at 12GB + 256GB. This positioning is expected to make it competitive among various Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered devices set for release in China and global markets in the upcoming weeks.

The company has not only confirmed the utilization of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC but has also validated the incorporation of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Additionally, it has affirmed the presence of a 3VC iceberg cooling system, covering an area of 12,000mm² and boasting six times the equivalent thermal conductivity. According to the company, this results in a maximum CPU core temperature drop of 21.8°C. The phone will be equipped with Geek Performance Panel 2.0, introducing dual scheduling of GPU+CPU for the first time.

Realme has further assured that the phone will house a substantial 5400mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging, capable of charging up to 50% in just 12 minutes. It pledges 8 hours of continuous Honor of Kings gaming and an impressive standby time of up to 406 hours.

The device will feature the Sony IMX890 telephoto camera, showcasing a notably large 1/1.56-inch sensor, surpassing the OMNIVISION 64B by 76% and the Samsung ISOCELL JN1 by 104%. Boasting an f/2.6 aperture, it supports 3x optical zoom, along with OIS+EIS for robust stabilization and all-pixel omnidirectional focus.

As the official unveiling approaches in a week, more details are anticipated to be revealed in the coming days.
