Realme Flash concept phone announced with 50W MagDart magnetic wireless, 15W Circular MagDart wireless charging and more

Realme has finally announced its magnetic wireless charging technology, after the teaser. It has demoed the technology in its concept phone the Realme Flash and also launches a line-up of MagDart products. Realme Flash concept phone is the first Android smartphone with support for MagDart magnetic wireless charging. It has a curved screen, curved AG glass back, and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with triple rear cameras, and has a 4500mAh battery that supports both fast wired and wireless chargers.

The realme 50W MagDart wireless charging will fully charge the 4500mAh battery wirelessly on the phone at 50W speeds in 54 minutes and takes 5 minutes to charge 20%. It is a clip-on accessory, similar to Apple’s MagSafe charger, and the charger has 1.5mm magnets and features an active air cooling system to prevent overheating.

Realme 15W MagDart wireless charging can fully charge a 4,500 mAh battery in 90 minutes. For comparison with Apple’s system (which also runs at 15W), in our testing we found that the 3,687 mAh battery of an iPhone 12 Pro Max takes three full hours for a complete charge, suggesting that charging gets throttled much sooner than with Realme’s Maggart.

Realme MagDart wireless Power bank with base this one looks like the stand type but is actually a 2-in-1 system. The part that supports the phone is a power bank that detaches from the base and can be used as a vertical charging station.

The company also announced the MagDart case for the realme GT 5G smartphone, which can enable MagDart wireless charging in the phone as well. Realme also announced a MagDart Wallet that can hold up to 3 cards, MagDart Beauty Light which is a light with 60 LEDs for portrait photography.

The company said that it hopes to create an ecosystem providing technical standard support for more innovations and jointly create innovative magnetic accessories with more people with MagDart Fusion Plan. It will open the MagDart standard for everyone in the future, expanding MagDart’s uses and possibilities and welcoming more useful and cool products whether it's AIoT devices or accessories.

There is no information about these products when will be available in the market, but we can expect upcoming realme smartphones will support this technology.
