Realme C85 5G launched in India starting at an effective price of Rs. 14,999 with 6.8-inch 144Hz display, IP69 ratings
Realme has launched its newest budget 5G smartphone offering in the C series, the C85 5G in India, as previously confirmed. It features a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with a 5300+ mm² VC cooling system, 8GB of RAM, and up to 10GB of additional Dynamic RAM via expansion.
Running realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15, the C85 5G sports a 50MP rear camera and includes the AI Edit Genie feature. The phone boasts IP69 Pro dust and water resistance, has been tested for up to 6 meters of submersion for 30 minutes, offers protection against 36 different types of liquids, and carries MIL-STD-810H certification, which enables it to withstand 2-meter drops and temperatures of up to 85°C.
Realme also highlighted that the C85 5G has earned a Guinness World Records title for the “Most people performing a mobile phone water resistance test,” underscoring the smartphone’s durability.
The device packs a 7000mAh battery promising up to two days of usage, supports 45W fast charging, and offers 6.5W reverse wired charging. It includes a single bottom-firing speaker but supports 400% Ultra Volume for amplified audio output.
