Realme 12 Pro Series 5G launching in India on January 29 with 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, 64MP Telephoto Camera
Following teasers and speculations, realme has officially announced the launch of the realme 12 Pro Series 5G in India, scheduled for January 29th. Accompanying the announcement is a promotional video featuring Shah Rukh Khan, highlighting the phone's impressive camera capabilities.
The teaser emphasizes the phone's "flagship design" and "flagship photography," with realme expressing a commitment to meeting users' expectations. Notably, the realme 12 Pro Series 5G will introduce a 64MP Omnivision OV64B periscope telephoto camera, providing 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor zoom, and support for up to 120x SuperZoom, all enhanced with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The main camera will feature the IMX890 sensor, also equipped with OIS.
During a media event in Las Vegas, the company showcased the advanced periscope telephoto technology and highlighted the phone's luxury watch design, a result of their collaboration with Luxury Watch Designer Ollivier Savéo. According to the company, this design aims to deliver a premium experience reminiscent of luxury timepieces.
realme's collaboration with Qualcomm has resulted in enhanced image processing through the MasterShot Algorithm. The realme 12 Pro Series stands out as the first and only device in its category capable of processing RAW domains, ensuring exceptional clarity, dynamic range, and realism in cinematic portraits, as per the company.
About these advancements, the company explained that the next-generation omni-focal MasterShot Algorithm represents a flagship-level architecture, incorporating the LightFusion Engine for improved clarity and tone, along with the NightEye Engine for superior night photography. Additionally, the Series introduces a unique movie portrait filter, facilitating the effortless capture of striking portraits.
The teaser images showcase the phone in Submarine Blue, featuring a vegan leather finish made from premium silicone material that is 30% softer than the previous generation used in the realme 11 Pro series. The phone boasts a 3D Jubilee bracelet with diamond patterns on the back's central part, and the Golden Fluted bezel around the camera module exhibits 300 precision-crafted triangular grooves. Surrounding the cameras is a polished sunburst dial with 500 gradient patterns.

The Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ smartphones will be available on Flipkart after the launch in India. The Vice President of realme, Chase, has officially stated that the phone is set to be launched in the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Italy, Bangladesh, and Myanmar as well.
