POCO X8 Pro launched in India starting at Rs. 32,999 with 6.59-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 8500-Ultra SoC, 6500mAh battery
POCO has launched its latest smartphone in the X8 series, the POCO X8 Pro in India, as previously announced. It features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It utilizes M10 luminescent material and delivers an impressive peak brightness of up to 3500 nits.
On the performance front, the device becomes the first smartphone in India to run on the Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor built on a 4nm process. It achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 2 million and is paired with LPDDR5 Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
The phone incorporates a 3D Ice-Loop cooling system with a large 5300mm² vapor chamber for efficient thermal management, along with Wildboost optimization for enhanced performance. It ships with Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and is promised to receive four years of OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
In terms of design, the POCO X8 Pro sports a metal frame and a glass back panel. It features rounded corners, slim bezels, and a balanced weight distribution to enhance durability and in-hand comfort. The device also carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. Dynamic RGB LED lighting surrounds the rear camera module for added visual appeal.
The smartphone packs a 6500mAh battery and supports 100W wired fast charging, capable of reaching a full charge in just 48 minutes. It also offers 27W wired reverse charging and supports the 100W PPS fast-charging standard.
POCO X8 Pro Iron Man Limited Edition -
Alongside the standard model, the company has unveiled the POCO X8 Pro Iron Man Limited Edition. This special variant comes in a gold-and-black finish with an armored design theme and metallic textures, complemented by a customized UI and a matching protective case.
The limited edition package also includes a specially designed USB cable, a unique SIM ejector tool, and exclusive retail packaging to complete the themed experience.
