Google Pixel 8a Surfaced Online Revealing a price hike, and get 256GB storage upgrade

Google is preparing to unveil its latest addition to the Pixel 8 Series, the Pixel 8a, later this year. A report by WinFuture discloses details about the Pixel 8a, including a potential increase in price compared to its predecessor and the introduction of four color options.

Information sourced from German retailers indicates that the Pixel 8a may be offered in two memory configurations and available in four distinct colors. The initial price in Europe is projected to exceed 550 EUR, contrasting with the Pixel 7a, which commenced at 499 EUR.

Retailer insights suggest that the Pixel 8a will provide storage choices of 128GB or 256GB. The Pixel 8a with 128GB storage is anticipated to commence at 569.90 EUR (USD 621 / Rs. 51,445 approx.), while the 256GB variant might cost around 630 EUR (USD 686 / Rs. 56,870 approx.), although these figures are subject to alteration, as per the report.

The device is listed in four hues: Obsidian (black), Porcelain (beige), Bay (light blue), and Mint (light green). However, it's worth noting that certain colors may be exclusively available with specific memory configurations. For instance, the 256GB model is presently only available in black.

Earlier reports suggest that the Pixel 8a will boast a Google Tensor G3 octa-core SoC, 8GB of RAM, a 6.1″ display with a curved design, and two cameras on the back arranged in the characteristic Pixel series bar design.

While the precise release date remains uncertain, availability is anticipated in April or May.
