OPPO Reno10 5G, Reno10 Pro 5G and Reno10 Pro+ 5G launching in India soon with New Portrait Features
OPPO has confirmed the launch of its latest smartphones in the Reno10 series the OPPO Reno10 5G, Reno10 Pro 5G, and Reno10 Pro+ 5G in India soon. The company has also revealed some of the features, including the colors and the variants.
All these phone specifications should be similar to the Chinese models that were launched in May. As we know that the phone feature an FHD+/1.5K 120Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 778G / Dimensity 8200 / Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoCs, and more.
The OPPO Reno 10 5G will come in Ice Blue and Silvery Grey colors, comes with a 120Hz 3D Curved Screen, and feature a 32MP Telephoto Portrait Camera. The phone will be available in 8GB RAM with a 256GB storage version.
The OPPO Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ 5G will come in Glossy Purple and Silvery Grey colors and has a 50MP Sony Flagship IMX890 primary rear camera with OIS. These phones will be available in 12GB RAM with a 256GB storage version.
The Reno10 and Reno10 Pro versions feature a 32MP 2x telephoto lens with a Sony IMX709 sensor, while the Reno10 Pro+ has a 64MP periscope Telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom. So, the phone can shoot portraits from a distance for more natural facial proportions, devoid of any mild fish-eye distortion that you would get from smartphone cameras that force you to shoot from closer.
64MP Telephoto Portrait Camera -
As per the company, the 64MP telephoto portrait camera is the highest megapixel telephoto portrait camera in the industry and comes with a 1/2-inch image sensor that lets you snap portraits with up to 3x telephoto with OIS and 120x hybrid zoom. The closest focus distance of this camera is 25cm.
The telephoto lens excels at enhanced light gathering for brighter and clearer portraits with reduced noise In low light while preserving the natural ambiance of the scene.
The company said that When combined with the new color calculation engine, TurboRAW2.0, the Reno 10 Pro+’s process speed for nighttime photography has increased by 54%, the capture success rate of quick snapshots by 7%, and the dynamic range of the photo by 11% for overall accurate colors and richer details when compared to the Reno 8 Pro.
Ultra-wide-angle camera -
The Reno 10 Pro and Pro+ also sport the 8MP Sony IMX355 112° ultra-wide-angle camera with a 1/4-inch sensor. The IMX355 boasts a broad dynamic range that allows it to preserve details in bright and dark areas of a photograph.
32MP Sony IMX709 Selfie Camera -
There is a 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor with AF for selfies and precise facial recognition even in low light. This RGBW sensor on the front camera is customized for OPPO, where the color W (white) is inserted into each RGGB pixel array; this increases the light intake by 60% when compared to the general RGGB lens. It is backed by a 1/2.47-inch sensor and a 90° FOV for wider selfies.
OPPO AI and NPU -
For all OPPO devices, the camera setup on the Reno 10 Series leverages proprietary algorithms, filters, and photo-editing tools for the beautification of portrait images. the Reno 10 Pro+ comes with camera algorithms that kick in for 4K videos to fuse two frames of long- and short-exposure image information in real-time to widen the original dynamic range four times.
Simultaneously, the AI Noise Reduction (AINR) algorithm intelligently identifies noise pixels in night-time videos and denoises each frame for noise reduction. Also, the Reno 10 Pro+ utilizes an AI Depth algorithm that has undergone extensive training with millions of images. It calculates the distance between objects and characters in the background to create a precise depth map for beautiful bokeh.
