OPPO F35 and F35 Pro 5G launching in India on October 5th with Group Selfie Camera Features

OPPO has confirmed that its upcoming OPPO F35 Series 5G smartphones will launch in India on October 5 at 12:00 PM, following a teaser. The announcement comes after a series of teasers and marks a decade of OPPO’s F-series presence in the Indian market. The new generation is expected to build on the lineup with refreshed styling and a stronger focus on group photography.

Photography and Positioning

OPPO is positioning the new series under the “Group Selfie Expert” tagline, highlighting its appeal to younger users and social media-focused audiences.

Early promotional content showcases a wide-angle selfie captured using the OPPO F35 Pro 5G. The wider field of view is designed to accommodate more people in a single frame without the need for a selfie stick or stretching the arm excessively. The phone also features AI-powered camera capabilities, as suggested by the branding on its rear camera module.

Design and Build Details

The promotional images reveal several design elements across the OPPO F35 Series.

• Camera Module Architecture: The rear camera system uses a rounded-square housing that OPPO refers to as the “Smile Curve Design” and “Starry Sea Lens Module.” The camera area is manufactured using a Flagship-level One-Piece Cold Carving process, creating a seamless transition between the rear glass and camera section.

• Signature Colorways: OPPO will offer the series in several nature-inspired finishes, including a vibrant textured orange, a light blue option with a marble-like sky/wave pattern, and a matte charcoal/black variant.

Expected Lineup and Hardware

The upcoming lineup is expected to comprise at least two models: the OPPO F35 5G and the more premium OPPO F35 Pro 5G. While the Pro model features a triple-camera arrangement, the standard F35 5G adopts a vertically positioned pill-shaped camera module with two sensors and an LED flash ring.

The standard model will also be available in a soft pastel pink finish with a feathered floral texture across the rear panel. It retains flat frames with metallic accents and rounded corners, matching the contemporary design language of the series.

OPPO is expected to reveal the complete specifications, feature set, and official Indian pricing at the October 5 launch event. According to leaks, both models could feature high-refresh-rate AMOLED displays, large-capacity batteries, and 5G-enabled mid-range processors.
