Oppo F1 Plus with 16MP Front-camera, 4GB RAM launched in India

Oppo had a press conference in New Delhi today, where the company launched another phone in their “F” series which is specifically targeted toward the “Selfie Generation”. The Oppo F1 Plus which is being touted by the company as a selfie expert comes with a 16MP front camera.

The phone is priced at INR 26,990 and comes with the following specs:

  • 5.5”-inch FHD AMOLED Screen
  • MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor, Mali T860MP2 GPU
  • 4GB RAM, 64GB Internal Memory
  • Hybrid Dual SIM (Nano + Nano/microSD)
  • Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) with ColorOS 3.0
  • 13MP Rear Camera with f/2.2 aperture, 16MP front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture
  • Fingerprint sensor
  • 4G LTE, Dual-band WiFi, GPS, FM Radio
  • 2850mAh Battery with VOOC Flash Charge

The display has a 1.66mm ultra-narrow bezel giving the phone a 77.68% screen-to-body ratio. The Fingerprint sensor is located in the home button and the company claims that the phone will unlock in just 0.2 seconds. Oppo is using an aluminium alloy body for the Oppo F1 Plus, which also packs 2850mAh battery.

Camera Phones are always our focus and we plan to bring out the best camera experiences to our consumers.

The Oppo F1 Plus will be seen running the “Newly designed ColorOS 3.0” based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. You can pick the F1 Plus in either Gold or Rose Gold colors, priced at Rs. 26,990. It will be available across India starting from mid-April. Oppo has also roped in Indian Cricket All-rounder, Yuvraj Singh, as the brand ambassador.
