OPPO Enco X4 launched in India at Rs. 19,999 with 11mm + 6mm dual drivers, dual DACs, LHDC 5.0 lossless audio

OPPO has launched its latest flagship true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, the OPPO Enco X4 in India, as promised. The new earbuds bring audio enhancements developed in partnership with Dynaudio, improved active noise cancellation (ANC), and expanded support for AI-powered features and cross-platform connectivity.

Acoustic Architecture and Lossless Audio Support

The OPPO Enco X4 features a dual-driver acoustic system comprising an 11mm TRF diaphragm woofer and a 6mm planar diaphragm tweeter. Each driver has a dedicated digital-to-analog converter (DAC), enabling independent audio processing for low and high frequencies. Developed in collaboration with Dynaudio for the seventh consecutive year, the earbuds offer five dedicated sound profiles tailored to different music genres and listening preferences.

The Enco X4 also marks OPPO’s first move into wireless lossless audio. When connected to compatible devices, including the OPPO Find X10 series, the earbuds use LHDC Lossless technology to support bitrates up to 2.3Mbps and 24-bit/48kHz audio playback. In addition to Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification, they feature Cross-Ecosystem Spatial Audio, delivering a virtual surround-sound experience across Android, iOS, and Windows devices.

Enhanced Noise Cancellation and Voice Processing

OPPO has upgraded the Enco X4’s noise cancellation system with a 6nm neural processing unit (NPU), refined acoustic algorithms, redesigned low-pressure ear tips, and a three-microphone array. According to the company, the new system delivers up to 100% better overall noise cancellation than its predecessor, alongside an estimated 30% improvement in reducing noise across human speech and vocal frequencies.

The earbuds feature AI Real-time Adaptive ANC, which continuously monitors surrounding noise and adjusts cancellation levels to suit different environments, including buses, subways, and airplanes. For calls, the triple-microphone setup works with a bone-conduction voice pick-up unit (VPU) and the AI Clear Call algorithm to improve voice clarity and suppress background noise.

Connectivity, Smart Features, and Battery Life

The OPPO Enco X4 supports Bluetooth 6.1 and dual-device connectivity, allowing users to switch between paired devices across different operating systems. It also includes several software-based features designed to enhance everyday use:

• Audio Recording: Dolby-powered Clear Audio Recording supports directional stereo capture, catering to content creators and users who record audio.
• AI Utilities: AI Live Translation supports more than 30 languages. On compatible devices, users can also activate Google Gemini hands-free using voice prompts.
• Health Tracking: An integrated posture-detection sensor monitors neck angles and alerts users when they maintain poor posture for extended periods.

The earbuds carry an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance. OPPO claims up to 13 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, with total battery life extending to 53 hours when used with the charging case, based on standard testing conditions.
