Oppo A83 arrives with 5.7-inches full-screen display, face unlock

Oppo has announced a new mid-range smartphone in China. The Oppo A83 comes with a 5.7-inch HD+ full-screen display with 2.5D curved glass on top, running on the MediaTek Helio P23 octa-core processor. There's 4GB RAM onboard and 32GB internal storage which is expandable.

At the back, you will find a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera which comes with AI beautification feature. There's face unlock built-in as well which can unlock the phone in just 0.18 seconds.

Just like most other Oppo devices, the A83 also has dual-SIM support, VoLTE and Bluetooth 4.2. All this is packed in a 7.7mm thin body with 3180 mAh battery.

The Oppo A83 has been priced at 1399 Yuan (Rs. 13,700 / US$ 210) and it will be available in China starting December 29th. You can get it in Champagne Gold and Black color options.
